White & Case Advises Goldman Sachs on Tencent's Entry into Voodoo's Capital

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Goldman Sachs, through its West Street Capital VII Funds, a partner of hyper-casual mobile gaming Voodoo, on the entry of Chinese conglomerate Tencent into Voodoo's capital.
The completion of the transaction, which remains subject to the approval of the relevant competition authorities, will see Voodoo become the ninth French unicorn – a startup company valued at more than US$1 billion.
The White & Case team in Paris which advised on the transaction was led by partners Saam Golshani and Guillaume Vitrich, and included partners Alexandre Ippolito and Yann Utzschneider, with support from associates Hugues Racovski, Sarah Kouchad and Alexandre Martin. Lawyers from the White & Case offices in London and Washington, DC also advised on the transaction.
