Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Goldman Sachs on its investment in BackMarket, a French e-commerce platform launched in 2014 and specializing in the sale of refurbished electronic goods, alongside Eurazeo Growth and Aglaé Ventures.
The investment is a "Series C" fund raising for a total amount of €110 million.
The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partners Saam Golshani and Guillaume Vitrich (both Paris), and included partners Alexandre Jaurett, Clara Hainsdorf and Ludovic Malgrain (all Paris) and Kenneth Barry (London), with support from counsel Thomas Cambidge (London) and associates Hugues Racovski, Tiphanie Levassort, Dany Luu, Laura Tuszynski, Arthur Merle-Beral and Grégoire Durand (all Paris) and Elena Ruggiu (London).
