Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Gaia Capital Partners on its investment, alongside Edison Partners and Citi Ventures, in the latest financing round of GoHenry.
Gaia Capital Partners is an investment fund specialising in growth companies. Based in Paris, with a presence in Toronto and New York, Gaia Capital Partners backs European scale-ups with the goal of making a positive contribution toward greater environmental and societal challenges. GoHenry is Gaia Capital Partners’ first investment in the UK.
Launched in the UK in 2012, and led since 2015 by Frenchman Alex Zivoder, GoHenry is a money app and prepaid debit card, in partnership with Visa in the UK and Mastercard in the US, with unique parent controls designed exclusively for six to18 year-olds to help them learn good money habits in an increasingly cashless society.
The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partner Guillaume Vitrich (Paris) and included partner Daniel Turgel (London) with support from associate Hugues Racovski (Paris).
