White & Case advises Fingen on Florentia Village joint venture with Kalyon

Global law firm White & Case LLP and GKC Partners have advised Italian international investment firm Fingen S.p.A. (Fingen), together with its co-investors, on a joint venture with Kalyon İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Kalyon) for the development of the Florentia Village designer outlet project.

"This transaction demonstrates our expertise in structuring complex cross-border joint ventures, particularly those involving regulated assets and multiple governmental stakeholders," said White & Case partner Emre Özşar, who led the Firm's deal team.

The joint venture will focus on the design, construction, operation and management of a new luxury designer outlet shopping mall within the Istanbul Airport development area.

Fingen manages investments across multiple asset classes including private equity, real estate and retail. Kalyon is a Turkish conglomerate with diversified business interests including energy, infrastructure and real estate.

The White & Case and GKC Partners team in Istanbul that advised on the transaction included partner Emre Özşar and associates Gökçen Durgut and Batuhan Akarsu. White & Case has a professional association with Istanbul-based GKC Partners.
