White & Case advises Eurazeo on investment in Finnish software startup Aiven

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Eurazeo as lead investor in the US$210 million Series D fundraising of Aiven, a Finnish cloud scale-up.

The round was led by Eurazeo, with BlackRock as co-investor, as well as existing investors IVP, Atomico, Earlybird, World Innovation Lab and Salesforce Ventures. The fundraising values Aiven at over US$3 billion.

The investment will allow Aiven to continue its international expansion and hire new developers, to help develop new platform capabilities and launch a global sustainability program.

The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partner Guillaume Vitrich (Paris) and included partners Clara Hainsdorf (Paris) and Janko Lindros (Helsinki) and associates Clément Cenreaud, Amélie Jungbluth, Laura Tuszynski, Louise Mouclier (all Paris) and Jussi Kukko (Helsinki).
