White & Case advises E.ON on €1.25 billion green bonds issuance

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised E.ON SE on the issuance of two tranches of notes with an aggregate principal amount of €1.25 billion.

The first tranche has a principal amount of €750 million, a six-year term and a fixed coupon of 3.125%. The tranche was issued as a green bond under the Green Bond Framework of E.ON SE.

The second tranche has a principal amount of €500 million, a 14-year term and a fixed coupon of 3.875%. E.ON intends to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes.

The notes of both tranches were admitted to trading on the regulated market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
