White & Case advises on Enel’s US$2 billion sustainability-linked Yankee bond issuance

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the joint bookrunners on Enel's US$2 billion sustainability-linked Yankee bond issued pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the US Securities Act.

The issuance, guaranteed by Enel S.p.A. and issued by Enel Finance International NV, consists of two tranches: US$1.25 billion 5.125% notes due 2029 and US$750 million 5.500% notes due 2034.

The transaction is linked to the achievement of Enel Group's sustainability objective of reducing greenhouse gas Scope 1 emissions relating to the production of electricity.
