White & Case Advises Encore Capital on €415 Million Senior Secured Notes Offering

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Encore Capital Group, Inc., an international specialty finance company, on its offering of €415 million (upsized from €275 million) aggregate principal amount of senior secured floating rate notes due 2028 with a coupon of three-month EURIBOR (subject to a 0% floor) plus 4.250%.
Encore used the proceeds from the offering to redeem in full outstanding €400 million senior secured floating rate notes due 2024, and to pay certain transaction fees and expenses incurred in connection with the offering of the notes. This is Encore's second senior secured notes refinancing since White & Case advised on the implementation of its new global funding structure in September 2020.
