Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Duke Street, a leading European midmarket private equity group, on the sale of its portfolio company Medi-Globe Technologies GmbH to DCC Healthcare.
The acquisition value is based on the enterprise value of approximately €245 million on a cash-free, debt-free basis and the consideration will be settled in cash on completion. The transaction is subject to competition authority clearance in Germany and France and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2022.
Medi-Globe Technologies is a developer, manufacturer and distributor of disposable accessories for use in flexible endoscopy in the fields of gastroenterology and urology, with products sold to hospitals and procurement organizations in over 120 countries. It has revenues of approximately €120 million and employs around 600 people.
DCC Healthcare is a leading healthcare business providing products and services to health and beauty brand owners and healthcare providers. It has revenues of over £765 million and approximately 2,800 employees across its operations in Britain, Ireland, the US and the DACH region.
White & Case previously advised on Medi-Globe Technologies' acquisition by Duke Street in 2016, which was the first acquisition in Germany by Duke Street.
