Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Belgian privately held investment company Cobepa on its acquisition from ICG of the Gerflor Group.
Cobepa becomes the majority shareholder and ICG retains a significant minority stake, as does the management, in the new shareholder structure of Gerflor, which also includes Crédit Mutuel Private Equity.
Gerflor Group creates, manufactures, and markets innovative, decorative and sustainable vinyl flooring solutions and wall finishes for professionals and consumers.
The White & Case team in Paris which advised on the transaction was led by partner Nathalie Nègre-Eveillard and included partners Raphaël Richard, Yann Utzschneider and Estelle Philippi, with support from counsel Orion Berg and associates Sophie Nguyen, Louis Feuillée, Tala Ayoub, Roman Picherack, Laure Elbaze and Sarah Kouchad.
White & Case recently advised Cobepa on its acquisitions of Exclusive Networks, Socotec, Babilou and SGG, on its entry into the capital of Bank Degroof and on its investment in International SOS.
