White & Case Advises Clariant on Agreement to Sell Healthcare Packaging Business to Arsenal Capital Partners

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised specialty chemical company Clariant AG on the agreement to sell its Healthcare Packaging business to New York-based private equity fund Arsenal Capital Partners.
The deal, which is valued at approximately CHF 308 million, was preceded by a bidding process and is expected to close in Q4 2019. The completion of the transaction is subject to the customary approvals.
In 2018, the Healthcare Packaging business generated sales of around CHF 135 million. The business has manufacturing facilities in the US, France, China and India, and employs around 600 employees.
