White & Case Advises Citigroup on Compagnie de Saint-Gobain’s €2.41 Billion Sale of Sika Stake

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Citigroup, acting as Sole Global Coordinator, on the €2.41 billion sale by Compagnie de Saint-Gobain of its entire stake in the Swiss chemical manufacturer Sika, representing approximately 15.2 million shares and 10.75 percent of Sika’s share capital.
The disposal was carried out by way of an international private placement to institutional investors with an accelerated bookbuilding process. To date, it is the largest secondary offering in Europe since the beginning of 2020.
Sika shares are listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
The White & Case team in Paris which advised on the transaction was led by partners Thomas Le Vert and Séverin Robillard and included partner Max Turner and associates Boris Kreiss and Isabelle Touré-Farah.
