White & Case advises banks on Commercial Bank of Dubai’s US$500 million inaugural green bond issuance

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank as global coordinators, and Citigroup, Emirates NBD, First Abu Dhabi Bank, J.P. Morgan and NATIXIS as joint lead managers, on the US$500 million green bond issuance by Commercial Bank of Dubai P.S.C. (CBD).
"This is the first green bond issue by CBD and a milestone in the bank's commitment to sustainable finance," said White & Case partner Debashis Dey, who led the Firm's deal team.
CDB is a leading UAE banking and financial services corporation headquartered in Dubai.
