White & Case Advises Bank Syndicate on Issuance of Federal Bond with Principal Amount of €5.5 billion

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised a syndicate of banks consisting of Barclays Bank Ireland PLC, BofA Securities Europe SA, Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft, J.P. Morgan AG, Morgan Stanley Europe SE and UniCredit Bank AG on the issuance of a bond of the Federal Republic of Germany (Bund), represented by the Federal Ministry of Finance which is in turn represented by Bundesrepublik Deutschland – Finanzagentur GmbH (Finance Agency).
The Federal bond has a principal amount of €5.5 billion, a term of more than thirty-years and a fixed coupon of 0.00%.
The White & Case team in Frankfurt that advised on the transaction was led by partner Karsten Wöckener and included associate Daniel Gillenkirch.
