White & Case advises bank syndicate on first issuances of dual-tranche green bonds issued by Siemens Energy Finance

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised a syndicate of banks consisting of BNP Paribas, Commerzbank AG, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Mizuho Securities Europe GmbH and Standard Chartered Bank AG on the first issuances of a dual-tranche of green bonds by Siemens Energy Finance B.V.
The two tranches have a principal amount of €1.5 billion and are guaranteed by Siemens Energy AG. The first tranche has a principal amount of €750 million, a four-year term and a fixed coupon of 4.00%. The second tranche also has a principal amount of €750 million, a six-year term and a fixed coupon of 4.250%. Both tranches are listed on the Euro MTF of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
The net proceeds from the issuances will be used to finance or refinance existing and/or future green projects in line with the Green Bond Framework of Siemens Energy.
