White & Case advises Altor’s Permascand on merger with Magneto Special Anodes

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Altor's portfolio company Permascand on its merger with Magneto Special Anodes to form a global company in catalytic coatings and electrodes.
Altor is a private equity firm which has raised more than €11 billion through its funds and invested in nearly 100 medium-sized Nordic and DACH companies.
Permascand is a technology-driven manufacturer of electrochemical solutions, based on proprietary catalytic coatings, for clean tech applications. The company has a production facility in Sweden and approximately 110 employees.
Magneto Special Anodes, formerly a brand of global water solutions company Xylem Inc., has production facilities in the Netherlands and China, with approximately 190 employees. The company designs, produces and supplies titanium-based anodes with precious metal coatings.
