Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practice with the addition of Shiva K. Sandill as a partner in Chicago.

Sandill advises a variety of corporate and private equity clients on their full range of legal needs, including acquisitions and investments, dispositions and corporate governance. He also provides sophisticated counsel to venture capital funds, strategic and financial investors and venture capital-backed companies in relation to fundraising and investment activities.

Sandill's addition follows the continued expansion of White & Case's Global M&A Practice following the recent additions of M&A partners Matthew Barnett in Los Angeles and Burr Eckstut in New York, both in March 2022.
For the sixth straight year, White & Case's Global M&A Practice was ranked by Mergermarket as being in the top ten law firms by value and volume for 2021. For global M&A, the Firm was ranked number two by deal value and number four by deal volume for advising on 620 announced deals valued in excess of US$716 billion in 2021.
