Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Debt Finance Practice with the addition of Paul Yin as a partner in London.
"The UK is the world's second largest legal market and our London debt finance team continues to experience high demand across all its service offerings," said White & Case partner Eric Leicht, head of the Firm's Global Debt Finance Practice. "Paul brings great versatility as a lawyer and gives us additional firepower as we expand to meet the growing demands of our clients."
Paul advises commercial and investment banks, private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers on a wide range of cross-border and domestic transactions including acquisition, real estate and general corporate financings. He joins White & Case from Skadden, where he was European counsel, and brings more than a decade of experience.
"Our London banking team enjoyed another successful year in 2021, and Paul's arrival adds further bench strength and continues the forward momentum," said White & Case partner Colin Harley, Regional Section Head, EMEA Banking. "He is a highly capable lawyer with excellent technical skills whose knowledge and experience will further enhance the service we provide to our clients as we continue to grow our market share."
White & Case partner Oliver Brettle, a London-based member of the Firm's global Executive Committee, said: "The ongoing status of London as a global financial centre, and the importance of English law in governing cross-border transactions, ensure that banking remains a strategically important practice for White & Case in London and Paul joins a leading team advising global clients on their most important transactions. His arrival also follows the lateral addition in London this year of M&A partner David Lewis and capital markets partner Anthony Colegrave, as well as eight internal partner promotions."
