Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its White Collar Practice with the addition of Neill Blundell as a partner in London.

"We are seeing an increase in scrutiny and investigations by regulators and enforcement agencies around the world," said White & Case partner Joel M. Cohen, Global Head of the Firm's White Collar Practice. "In response we are further growing our practice globally to ensure we can deliver first-rate advice to clients on all their complex white collar matters, from bribery and corruption and market misconduct, to fraud and money laundering issues, amongst others. Neill is a market leading lawyer with a wide swath of experience and his addition supports our strategic growth."

Neill advises corporations and individuals on a wide variety of white collar matters including compliance, pre-investigations, investigations and prosecutions conducted by UK agencies, such as the Financial Conduct Authority, Serious Fraud Office and National Crime Agency, as well as assisting on multi-jurisdictional investigations involving agencies such as the European Anti-Fraud Office, the US Department of Justice, the US Securities & Exchange Commission and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Neill joins the Firm from Macfarlanes, where he was a partner and led the corporate crime and investigations practice. At White & Case he will lead the London white collar team.

"Neill is a leading white collar partner with expertise across the full spectrum of white collar matters and significant credibility advising corporations and senior executives on their most sensitive and high profile matters," said White & Case partner Markus Langen, Regional Section Head, EMEA Disputes 1. "His addition provides further strength and depth both to our London white collar team, where he will work closely with our partners Anneka Randhawa and Jonah Anderson, and also to our wider global white collar practice."

White & Case partner and Vice Chair Oliver Brettle said: "Following the addition of Joel Cohen in early 2023 we have been looking to expand our white collar practice at a high level as part of the strategic growth of our disputes capabilities globally. Neill's arrival is an important part of that strategy. In addition, the growth of our white collar and broader disputes practices provides further opportunities to increase international cooperation across industry groups, such as financial services, technology and energy, and practice groups, particularly commercial litigation, data, privacy and cybersecurity and tax."
