Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Commercial Litigation Practice and Global Tax Practice with the addition of Kevin Spencer as a partner in Washington, DC.
"As a tax controversy partner with complex civil and criminal tax experience and a significant litigation background, Kevin brings a level of sophistication that will further enhance the strong reputation of our tax controversy team," said Eric Leicht, member of the Firm's Executive Committee. "We are delighted to welcome Kevin to our top-notch Global Commercial Litigation and Tax Practices as the Firm continues to prioritize bolstering its disputes practices across the US market."

He also has significant experience utilizing the IRS's alternative dispute resolution procedures. His work encompasses civil as well as criminal matters with experience advising clients on various tax issues, including tax accounting, civil and criminal tax penalties, IRS procedures, reportable transactions and tax shelters.

"We look forward to integrating him into the Firm."
Glenn Kurtz, Co-Head of the Global Commercial Litigation Practice, added, "Kevin's unique experience across all levels of tax disputes has strong synergies with our tax controversy capabilities. He will work closely with other members of the Commercial Litigation Practice as well as our White Collar Practice as an integral part of our client offering."
