Global law firm White & Case LLP announced today the addition of new partner Germaine Gurr to its New York office and Global Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practice.

Gurr's practice focuses on M&A and PE transactions, as well as general corporate matters with a particular focus on the energy industry, as well as the infrastructure, software, information technology, retail, healthcare, education and telecommunications sectors.

Gurr is the latest addition to the Firm's Global M&A Practice, which continues to rapidly expand around the world. Over the past 12 months, ten new M&A partners joined the Firm, namely: Sandra Rafferty and Will Smith in London; Victoria Rosamond and Matthew Hurlock in New York; Emery Choi and Mingda Zhao in Houston; Tali Sealman in Silicon Valley; Grace Fan-Delatour in Beijing; and Andrea Novarese and Maria Cristina Storchi in Milan. In addition, as of January 1, 2020, the Firm promoted 19 new partners in the Global M&A Practice.
