Global law firm White & Case LLP, in collaboration with Nestlé, the world’s largest food and beverage company, hosted an exclusive insight session at the White & Case London office on 20 November, 2024. The event focused on career development in Mergers & Acquisitions, Antitrust & Competition, and ESG practices, and was attended by students from Queen Mary University.
"Partnering with White & Case to provide students with a real-world perspective on legal careers has been incredibly rewarding," said Marceline Tournier, Global Head of Antitrust at Nestlé. "We hope to inspire the next generation of lawyers coming from all backgrounds through such initiatives."
The session was a tremendous success, with 71 students in attendance, all of whom provided outstanding feedback. Students appreciated the real-world insights and the chance to hear directly from a client, which they noted was a first for many of them.
"The event exemplifies our commitment to nurturing future talent by offering students unique opportunities to gain insights from both law firm and in-house perspectives," said Tilman Kuhn, Partner at White & Case.
The session featured a panel discussion with senior lawyers and ESG practitioners from both Nestlé and White & Case, followed by a Q&A session and networking opportunities.
"We are excited about the potential for future initiatives that support students and provide them with the tools they need to succeed in the legal profession," added Tilman Kuhn.
