Global law firm White & Case LLP has received a score of 90 out of 100 in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's 2024-2025 Corporate Equality Index, a benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality in the US. The Firm is one more than 1,400 major businesses, including Fortune 500 companies and AmLaw 100 firms, ranked in this year's survey.

The Corporate Equality Index rates companies on detailed criteria falling under four central pillars:

  • Non-discrimination policies across business entities
  • Equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families
  • Supporting an inclusive culture
  • Corporate social responsibility

This year's survey shows that a record-breaking 1,449 businesses have non-discrimination protections specific to gender identity. The index rates employers providing these crucial protections to more than 22 million US workers and an additional 18 million outside of the country.

Denise Diallo, partner and chair of the Firm's Global Diversity & Inclusion Committee, said: "White & Case is proud of our commitment to LGBTQ+ rights and freedoms as we mark our sixteenth year taking part in the survey. We will continue the important work of promoting equality and inclusion policies, which ultimately benefit all employees."

"Since the start of this work 22 years ago, we've seen drastic shifts in corporate America towards more equitable and inclusive working conditions, family formation and healthcare benefits, and non-discrimination protections," said Kelley Robinson, Human Rights Campaign president. "As a result, [companies] are more competitive and more creative while attracting and retaining top talent and widening their consumer base."
