White & Case Ranks #1 for Out-of-Court Creditor-Side Restructurings in 2021

White & Case ranks #1 by deal count for creditor-side out-of-court restructurings in The Deal's Q4 2021 league table rankings.

According to The Deal, White & Case advised creditors on 15 announced out-of-court restructurings in 2021, despite a significant decrease in restructurings and Chapter 11 filings in the market. 

The Firm’s Financial Restructuring and Insolvency Practice also achieved top rankings in The Deal's other league table categories for 2021, including:

• #2 by volume for US Bankruptcy cases, advising on Chapter 11 filings in aggregate of more than US$23 billion in liabilities
• #3 by deal count for company-side out-of-court restructurings, advising on 12 announced restructurings.

In 2021, White & Case's Global Financial Restructuring and Insolvency Practice achieved multiple recognitions in the market for its work, including "Restructuring Team of the Year" by The British Legal Awards.
