Global law firm White & Case LLP earned top rankings in 2022 league tables newly published by Bloomberg, Mergermarket (Acuris) and Thomson Reuters (Refinitiv), based on White & Case's performance in 2021. For the sixth straight year, White & Case's Global M&A practice is ranked in the top ten by value and volume, according to Mergermarket.
For global M&A in 2021, Mergermarket ranked White & Case number 2 by value and number 4 by volume, for advising on 620 announced deals valued in excess of US$716 billion, all for an increase of 138 percent in value and 230 more deals than in the previous year.
Thomson Reuters ranked White & Case number 1 by value for Emerging Markets, for advising on 110 announced deals with an aggregate value in excess of US$92 billion.
