White & Case Tops Middle East M&A League Table and Is Named "Telecoms, Media & Technology Legal Adviser of the Year 2019" by MergerMarket Middle East M&A Awards

White & Case has been ranked #1 for Middle East and Africa M&A deals in Q1 2019, according to Bloomberg's legal adviser rankings. The firm was also named the top legal adviser for the whole EMEA region.

At its annual Middle East awards on 10 April, Mergermarket, the leading provider of M&A data and intelligence, named White & Case as "Telecoms, Media & Technology Legal Adviser of the Year 2019."

The award comes as recognition of the firm's extensive experience working with clients in the telecommunications, media and technology sector (TMT) and our ongoing role in advising both leading TMT corporations and investment funds on high-profile transactions in the MENA region. Our work in the sector has included advising clients such as Etisalat, a multinational Emirati-based telecommunications services provider; A15, a leading tech investment fund; and Hughes Network Systems, a subsidiary of EchoStar Corporation (NASDAQ: SATS) in connection with first-of-a-kind transactions in the MENA region.
