White & Case advised PPF Group on the €2.15 billion sale of a 50 percent plus one share in PPF Telecom Group's assets in Bulgaria, Hungary, Serbia and Slovakia to Emirates Telecommunications Group Company PJSC (e&) and on setting up a joint venture between PPF Group and e& regarding those assets.

Liquidation of Sberbank CZ
White & Case advised the liquidator and insolvency trustee on the liquidation of Sberbank CZ—the Czech branch of Sberbank Europe Group—and on the CZK 41 billion sale of the bank's assets to Česká spořitelna (part of the Erste Group). This is the largest liquidation/insolvency of a bank in the Czech Republic in the past two decades.
This win follows the recent "National Law Firm of the Year" award for White & Case in the Czech Republic, from IFLR Europe.
