White & Case Italy Awarded "Diversity Initiative of the Year" and "Debt Capital Markets Law Firm of the Year" for Third Year in a Row

Global law firm White & Case LLP received an award for its "Diversity Initiative of the Year" and was named "Debt Capital Markets Law Firm of the Year" in Italy for the third year in a row at the TopLegal Awards ceremony held in webinar form for the first time on December 3, 2020. TopLegal is one of the leading legal publications in Italy.

In choosing White & Case for "Diversity Initiative of the Year," the jury appreciated in particular that the Milan office created and maintains a Diversity and Inclusion Committee involving partners, associates and staff members. The committee organizes an annual event on diversity and inclusion. In recent years, White & Case has organized roundtables with representatives of Italian and international companies to discuss and compare integration and inclusion policies with reference to the issues of gender and LGTBQ and equal opportunity in the work environment.

The jury highlighted the fact that White & Case is present in all facets of debt capital markets and noted in particular work on international transactions, including the Brebemi project bond for over €1.67 billion, which was awarded "European Bond Deal of the Year" at the 2019 PFI Awards.
