At its Women in Business Law APAC Awards announced on September 15, Legal Media Group (LMG) named global law firm White & Case LLP "China Practice International Firm of the Year." LMG also honored two White & Case partners among its "Lawyers of the Year":
- Real Estate Lawyer of the Year: Ayako Kawano (Tokyo)
- Equity Capital Markets Lawyer of the Year: Kaya Proudian (Singapore)
The Women in Business Law APAC Awards "recognize women lawyers leading their practice specialties in the region and those who are the emerging talents in their respective fields," according to IFLR.
