Chambers Names White & Case "Outstanding Firm for Furthering Diversity and Inclusion"

Chambers and Partners named global law firm White & Case LLP the "Outstanding Firm for Furthering Diversity and Inclusion" at its Chambers Diversity and Inclusion Awards: USA 2019 in San Francisco on June 6.

"The Chambers Diversity and Inclusion Awards represent the culmination of our research and also celebrate those firms and individuals who are furthering the advancement of diversity and inclusion in the US," according to Chambers.

"White & Case's Global Diversity Initiative implements best practices in providing appropriate hiring, training and professional development opportunities for all White & Case partners and employees," Chambers reported, in conferring the award. "The initiative spans their global network and covers all strands of diversity. The firm has set out a five-year Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Plan and is well on its way to achieving its targets."

Diversity and inclusion are core values at White & Case. White & Case was ranked first in The American Lawyer magazine's "Diversity Scorecard 2018," a survey of the United States' largest and highest-grossing law firms to determine their percentage of full-time minority lawyers and partners. The 2018 Scorecard was the fifth consecutive time White & Case topped the list.
