Dr. Sylvia Lorenz

Sylvia Lorenz is a member of White & Case's Data, Privacy & Cybersecurity practice, and the co-Head of the Firm's AI Client Task Force. She has extensive experience advising on new EU regulation in Tech, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Act and the Digital Services Act (DSA), and also the EU AI Act.

Sylvia focuses on digital platforms in a variety of forms and industries, in particular social media, automotive, energy and cloud services. Her practice covers the whole range of legal issues relating to digital platforms, namely negotiating all types of contracts, advising on the fast-evolving legal framework vis-à-vis end-users and public authorities (including data protection, consumer protection, and electronic communication law), dealing with regulators, and representing clients in high-stakes litigation.
