Biography
Overview
Michael is an associate in the Firm's Intellectual Property group. His practice focuses on intellectual property matters with an emphasis on technology and patent litigation. Michael has represented leading technology companies in IP litigation cases concerning various technologies such as wearable devices, web design technology, smart home technology, telecommunications, computer security, and semiconductor chips.
Michael received his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law, where he served as Senior Production Editor of the Santa Clara High Tech Law Journal. While in law school, he externed for the Honorable Susan Illston of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Michael is admitted to practice law in California. He is also registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Before practicing law, Michael gained experience as a mechanical engineer at an advanced manufacturing company.
