Overview

Maxine Ma is an Associate (not registered in Japan) in the Project Development and Finance practice group, based in Tokyo.

Maxine regularly advises financial institutions, export credit agencies, policy banks, sponsors and project companies in a wide range of project finance transactions spanning renewables, oil and gas projects, power projects and infrastructure projects in APAC, the Middle East, Africa and the U.S.

Prior to joining White & Case, Maxine was an associate in the Tokyo office of another highly respected international law firm.

the sponsors in relation to a floating solar project in Bangladesh. *

a syndicate of lenders on a portfolio financing of four solar plants and two wind farms with a combined nominal capacity of approximately 721 MW being developed in Mexico by affiliates of ENGIE and Tokyo Gas. *

the ECAs in relation to the US$4.3 billion financing for a newbuild petrochemical facility in the Middle East. *

the borrower and the sponsors on a combined US$8.9 billion bank and project-bond refinancing for the Ichthys LNG project in Australia. *
