Biography
Overview
Margaret is an associate in the Washington DC office of White & Case LLP in the Energy, Infrastructure, Project and Asset Finance group. She regularly represents commercial banks, multilateral organizations and sponsors in project development and financing transactions. Prior to joining White & Case, Margaret worked on the Project Finance team of an international law firm advising lenders and borrowers on the development, acquisition and financing of energy projects.
Experience
Represented commercial bank lenders in a series of construction and term loan financing transactions in connection with several portfolios of solar projects in the United States, totaling over $200 million in loans.*
Represented agency lenders in connection with the financing of a 250MW solar project in Atacama, Chile.*
Represented a sponsor in the sale-leaseback financing of an approximately 500kW solar project in Ohio, USA.*
Represented a syndication of commercial bank lenders in connection with a $250 million refinancing of a 250MW nominal capacity combined heat and power facility in Texas, USA.*
Represented a solar developer in a series of joint debt and tax equity financings and purchase and sale transactions in connection with a portfolio of over 40 solar projects.*
Represented commercial bank lenders on the debt and tax equity financing for the development, construction, operation and maintenance of an approximately 77MW portfolio of solar projects in Maine, USA.*
Represented a developer in a joint venture in connection with the development and demonstration of new offshore wind technology in Maine, USA.*
