Biography

Kit is an associate in the Commercial Disputes team in White & Case's London office, currently on secondment to our Firm’s Paris office. His practice includes a range of international arbitration experience, including commercial, investor state, and gas price arbitrations; litigation proceedings before the courts of England and Wales; and competition claims before the Competition Appeal Tribunal.

Kit has a particular focus on the energy industry as a member of the White & Case Energy Transition Group and the Sustainability and Responsible Business Associate Working Group. He joined the London office as a trainee and completed seats with the Energy, Infrastructure, Project and Asset Finance, and Non-Contentious Construction teams, as well as the Commercial Disputes practice.

Experience

Representing a buyer in an ICC price reopener arbitration under an import contract worth several billion euros.

Representing a buyer in a gas price arbitration under an import contract worth several billion euros.

Representing an African state in ICC and Swiss Chambers arbitrations involving claims for US$800 million in a matter arising from an international fraud, bribery, and corruption scandal.

Representing a state in an investment treaty claim commenced under the ICSID Additional Facility Rules concerning the insolvency of a railcar producing plant.

Representing a leading multinational FMCG company in an ICC arbitration involving claims of over US$3 billion in relation to the termination of a joint venture.
