Biography

Overview

Jacek Jezierski is a partner and head of the Real Estate practice in the Warsaw office.

He is transactional lawyer with over 13 years of experience in advising clients on their investment in the real estate sector in the CEE region. He represents domestic and international real estate investors, private equity funds, developers and asset managers on comprehensive real estate law matters including civil, administrative and commercial aspects.

With extensive experience in acquisitions, sales, and joint ventures, Jacek has advised on major transactions in the Polish real estate market, including high-profile projects related to real estate acquisition, sales and development of all kinds of property types like office buildings, warehouses, shopping malls, hotels as well as residential / student housing / PRS, also under sale and leaseback, forward purchase, forward funding or in joint venture structures.

Jacek's exceptional work has earned him industry recognition. He was awarded "Rising Star in Poland" at Euromoney Legal Media Group's inaugural Europe Rising Stars Awards 2019 in London. Chambers Europe 2024 recognized him as "Up and Coming" in Real Estate in Poland, while Legal 500 EMEA 2024 named him a "Next Generation Partner" in the same category.

Prior to his current position, Jacek gained valuable market experience working at another renowned international law firm in Warsaw.

7R S.A.: representation of 7R S.A. on the establishment of a joint venture with Czech investor Wood & Company, to develop the third phase of the 7R Park Tczew logistics project in Poland. *

AIG and White Star Real Estate: representation of AIG and White Star Real Estate on the sale of Galeria Słoneczna in Radom to the fund REICO, Česká Spořitelna. The transaction value was €164 million. *

BlackRock: representation of BlackRock on the sale of the Rondo 1 office building in Warsaw for €300 million to Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management and on the sale of two shopping centers – Karolinka in Opole and Pogoria in Dąbrowa Górnicza – to Rock Castle Global Real Estate (currently NEPI Rockcastle) valued at €220.8 million. *

Cornerstone Partners and Crestyl Group: representation of Cornerstone Partners and Crestyl Group on the acquisition of 100 percent of shares in Budimex Nieruchomości. The transaction value was set at over PLN 1.5 billion (approximately €330 million). *

Echo Investment S.A.: representation of Echo Investment S.A. n the acquisition of a controlling stake in Archicom from three private individuals. The price of the shares is close to €100 million. *

EPP N.V.: representation of EPP N.V. on the acquisition of a portfolio of twelve M1 commercial properties from the Chariot Top Group consortium. The transaction value was €692.1 million. *

Europa Capital: representation of Europa Capital on the sale of the Spektrum Tower office building in Warsaw GlobalWorth. The transaction value was €101 million. *

Europa Capital and White Star Real Estate: representation of Europa Capital and White Star Real Estate on the sale of the Plac Małachowskiego office building to the Generali Real Estate fund. *

Europa Capital and WX Management Services: representation of Europa Capital and WX Management Services on the acquisition and further sale of the Radisson Blu hotel in Warsaw. *

Fortress REIT: representation of Fortress REIT on the acquisition of two logistics parks (Waimea Logistic Park Bydgoszcz and Waimea Logistic Park Stargard) from Griffin Property Finance. *

G City Europe (formerly: Atrium European Real Estate): representation of G City Europe on the sale of shopping centers- Atrium Facility and Atrium Koszalin to ECE European Prime Shopping Centre Fund II. The transaction value was €298 million. *

G City Europe (formerly: Atrium European Real Estate): representation of G City Europe on the sale to NEPI Rockcastle of Atrium Copernicus Shopping Center in Toruń. The transaction value was €127 million. *

G City Europe (formerly: Atrium European Real Estate): representation of G City Europe on its first private rental sector (PRS) transactions in Poland. *

Hines: representation of Hines on the sale of the Proximo I and Proximo II office buildings in Warsaw to the fund REICO, Česká Spořitelna. The transaction value was €117 million for Proximo I and €77.3 million for Proximo II. *

Investika and Bud Holdings: representation of a joint venture of Investika, a Czech real estate investment fund, and Bud Holdings, a Luxembourg-based private equity company, on the €100+ million purchase of Face2Face Business Campus, a modern two-building complex in Katowice, from Echo Investment S.A. *

Kajima Student Housing: representation of Kajima Student Housing on the acquisition of the largest chain of dormitories in Poland from Oaktree Capital Management. The transaction value was €60 million. *

Redefine Properties and EPP N.V.: representation of Redefine Properties, the South African Real Estate Investment Trust, and EPP, the largest asset manager of retail real estate located in Poland, on the establishment of two joint ventures, which will manage a portfolio of 22 retail and three office properties. The completion of both transactions was conditioned by the delisting of EPP shares from the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) and Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE Euro MTF), as well as Redefine's acquisition of a controlling interest in EPP. The transaction documents were subject to Polish, Luxembourg and Dutch law. *

Savills IM: representation of Savills Investment Management on the €65.5 million acquisition of a logistics center in Stryków (central Poland) from Tritax EuroBox plc. *

Savills IM: representation of Savills Investment Management pn the over €100 million acquisition of five buildings included in the Park Beskid II warehouse and industrial complex from 7R and VRE. *

Tristan Capital Partners: representation of Tristan Capital Partners on the sale of the Jantar shopping center in Słupsk to CBRE Global Investors. The transaction value was €92 million. *
