Overview

Daniel Sander provides national and international clients on capital markets law.

He advises corporates and financial institutions on equity and debt capital markets transactions. Daniel Sander focusses particularly on issuance programs for bonds, certificates and other structured products as well as standalone issuances. He further concentrates on advising clients in connection with issues of registered bonds and Schuldscheindarlehen.

Before joining White & Case, Daniel Sander worked in the capital markets department of a leading international law firm in Frankfurt for two years and gained further in-depth expertise during a secondment to a leading international bank in London.

Advised a syndicate of banks on the issuance of a green bond (Grüne Bundesanleihe) of the Federal Republic of Germany (Bund). The Federal bond has a principal amount of EUR 5.25 billion, a ten-year term and a fixed coupon of 2.30%.

Fidelity
Advised Fidelity International on the expansion of its product portfolio to include Fidelity Physical Bitcoin ETP, on the structuring and implementation process, approval and notification by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority, and on regulatory, commercial, corporate and tax aspects.

OMV
Advised the global coordinators and the bookrunners on the issue of hybrid bonds by OMV Aktiengesellschaft in the amount of EUR 1.25 billion.
