White & Case advised PPF Group on €2.15 billion sale of 50 percent stake in PPF Telecom Group to e& Group

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised PPF Group on the sale of 50 percent plus one share in PPF Telecom Group's assets across Bulgaria, Hungary, Serbia, and Slovakia to Emirates Telecommunications Group Company (e&) for approximately €2.15 billion, with an additional potential earn-out of up to €350 million.
White & Case partner Jonathan Weinberg, who led the Firm's deal team, said: "We have represented one of our key clients, PPF Group, on this landmark deal, which has allowed us once again to demonstrate our capacity to deliver complex, high-value transactions for our clients."
The transaction represents a significant strategic partnership in the Central and Eastern European telecommunications sector, enhancing e& Group's market presence in the region while allowing PPF Group to refine its portfolio in line with its long-term strategy. With a maximum consideration of €2.5 billion, the transaction represents one of the largest ever executed by PPF Group.
