Overview
Giuseppe is a member of the Firm's EU law practice in Brussels and advises clients on all aspects of European, Italian and international antitrust/competition law, with a particular focus on merger control, cartel investigations and compliance issues.
He has been involved in several high-profile and complex merger control cases in transactions (including joint ventures and minority shareholding acquisitions) requiring international merger control approvals, both in Europe and around the world. He has particular experience advising international clients in merger control cases that require the assessment and negotiation of remedies.

He has represented clients in Article 101 TFEU investigations both before the European Commission and the Italian Competition Authority.
Giuseppe also has significant experience advising companies on general antitrust/competition law compliance issues, for example by preparing and delivering ad hoc compliance trainings, or by reviewing and editing distribution agreements.
Prior to joining White & Case, Giuseppe worked for another leading international law firm in Brussels for several years. His work covered complex merger control cases and antitrust/competition law investigations in a broad range of industries including chemicals, consumer electronics, industrial machinery and equipment, medical devices and IT.
He holds a Master of Laws degree from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar in recognition of superior academic achievement and where he also worked as a Research Assistant in Antitrust Law. Prior to pursuing LLM studies in New York, Giuseppe graduated with the highest honors from LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome with a thesis in merger control about the application of the failing firm defense in the EU and in the US.
