White & Case advises Société Générale-FORGE on launch of first institutional stablecoin deployed on public blockchain

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Societe Generale-FORGE (SG-FORGE), a regulated subsidiary of the Société Générale group dedicated to digital assets, on the launch of EUR CoinVertible, a digital asset developed and administered to maintain a stable value (stablecoin).
EUR CoinVertible is deployed in euros on the Ethereum public blockchain and is based on the open source CAST (Compliant Architecture for Security Token) framework principles. It is the first euro stablecoin launched by a regulated player on a public blockchain.
