Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised R.POWER on the largest transaction in the Polish photovoltaic sector to date – the sale of its portfolio of 122 MWp turnkey terrestrial photovoltaic farms to the fund Aberdeen Standard Investments (ASI).
The portfolio consists of 130 state-of-the-art photovoltaic projects developed by R.POWER with a total installed capacity of 122 MWp, predominantly in western and central Poland. R. POWER is capable of producing approximately 134,000 MWh of electricity per year which supplies more than 54,000 households while, at the same time, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by more than 106,000 tonnes per year.
The deal represents the third agreement between R.POWER and ASI in the Polish market, and is the third transaction on which White & Case has advised R.POWER.
