White & Case Advises FSN Capital on Financing of Acquisition of Obton Group

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised FSN Capital on the financing of the acquisition of a 45 percent stake in Obton Group A/S and an ESG-linked facility to be provided by Nordea in support of the Obton Group's growth strategy. 

The transaction is subject to approval from relevant authorities and is expected to close in the first half of 2021.

FSN Capital is a leading private equity adviser in the Northern European region. The FSN Capital Funds focus on making control investments in companies operating in the Northern European region with enterprise values between €50 million and €300 million.

Obton Group is a specialist alternative investment provider developing, structuring, and managing solar photovoltaic projects on-behalf of approximately 4,000 high net worth investors. It manages almost 1 GW of solar photovoltaic power, making it the ninth largest solar PV manager in Europe. Obton Group's solar photovoltaic business focuses on the entire development value chain from site selection to asset management through local operations and joint venture partners in eight markets.
