White & Case advises Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley on financing for SES’s US$3.1 billion acquisition of Intelsat

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley on the committed financing provided to SES S.A. (SES) for its US$3.1 billion (€2.8 billion) acquisition of Intelsat Holdings S.à r.l. (Intelsat).
SES is a leading provider of secure satellite and ground communications solutions, publicly listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and Euronext Paris. The merger positions SES as a stronger multi-orbit operator with greater coverage, improved resiliency, an expanded suite of solutions and enhanced resources to invest in innovation.
The White & Case team in Frankfurt which advised on the transaction was led by partners Vanessa Schuermann and Gernot Wagner and included partners Andreas Lischka and Bodo Bender, associate Bethany Davies and international attorney Ben McIver. Lawyers from the White & Case offices in Brussels, Luxembourg, Miami, New York and Paris also advised on the transaction.
